Linda Jordan
Often described as "a teacher's teacher," Linda Jordan brings great enthusiasm, competence, and common sense to her work. Her firsthand experiences implementing the Highly Effective Teaching (HET) model convinced her of the importance of acting on insights from the brain research to boost student achievement. A master presenter, Linda engages adult learners with her sincere and credible style. She works to help schools across the country implement HET while also contributing to the next generation of educators as Associate Professor of Education at Hope College, Michigan, where she teaches Educational Psychology, Classroom Management and Curriculum and Methods for Science, Math and Social Studies. She also is a part of the founding team, which established the Midwest Brain and Learning Institute at Hope College as well as the creator and instructor for an on-line certification in Advanced Learning.
